Macho Microgreens


Why Macho?  You have to try them to understand.  Calling these greens ‘Micro” is like calling the Grand Canyon a ditch. The nutritional power boost, my body feels when eating our greens, calling them micro just doesn’t seem to do them justice.  So that’s why we call them Machogreens and Macho microgreens.  
My daughter Heather started this business in 2017, she introduced us to sunflower and after the first bag, we were hooked. Fast forward a year, and my daughters life and plans changed, but our passion for our Macho greens did not.

Heather is no longer growing the greens, as many of you know she's getting married next month and just found out she and Travis are expecting a baby in October, so she has her hands full right now. Heather is however teaching me the ins and outs of growing her exceptional Macho greens and I'm excited to continue to offer you the quality organic greens she's produced in the past. I will continue to use the same organic soil, and organic seeds. The only changes at this time, I plan to grow and sell pea greens in addition to the well-loved black sunflower greens.

 

A little info about sunflower Macho microgreens: 24% to 30% protein with 8 essential amino acids present and the following vitamins and minerals are present in varying amounts:

Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B15, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin F, Vitamin H, Vitamin K, Choline, Folic Acid, Inositol, PABA, Calcium, Cobalt, Copper, Flourine, Iodine, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorous, Potassium, Selenium, Silicon, Sodium, Sulphur and Zinc.
